Activists

At the core of 1776 Unites is a belief that the true solutions for the problems that plague America, including racial and socioeconomic issues, are in the hands of people on the grounds, toiling in their communities. This is a belief and a vision gleaned from decades of work in communities by our founder, Bob Woodson, and that is borne out in the streets every day.

If we can empower people to renew their own lives and communities using the ideals and tools that already exist in our country, we can create change.
