About Darryl Webster

Dr. Darryl K. Webster is Senior Pastor of the Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church and has served EMBC for the last twenty-three years. Through his biblically sound preaching and teaching, the church has grown from 200 to over 2000 members. He received his B.A., M.S., and Doctor of Divinity degrees from Martin University.

Dr. Webster also serves as the founder of "Darryl K. Webster's Men’s Spiritual BOOTCAMP," a nationally recognized men’s ministry that seeks to disciple men and reconcile them to God, family and the community. Since its inception in 2006, BOOTCAMP has successfully ministered to thousands of men nationally and has expanded to include a component for marriages, youth and incarcerated men. BOOTCAMP has been featured on Focus on the Family, C-Span, Rural Route Radio, local media outlets and in two documentaries; it is now a model adopted by the National Baptist Convention of America, Inc.

Dr. Webster is author of the book entitled Small Change, Great Impact and has received numerous awards including the Governor’s Civic Leadership Award and multiple resolutions by the local Indianapolis City County Council.  Dr. Webster is also a certified John Maxwell Leadership Coach and experienced adjunct professor.

He and his wife and ministry partner, Sibyl, have been married for thirty-five years and are the proud parents of four children - Quincy, Kristin, Darrin and Kelli, who all serve in ministry, and are the grandparents of nine.
